Rotterdam World Gateway (RWG) provides container storage and transhipment with maximum efficiency. Seamless access to Europe: seamless transit of containers from all over the world to consumers and businesses in Europe. And vice versa.
The MOL Tribute, MOL’s next 20.000 TEU vessel in a series of six, will make her maiden call at the RWG terminal on Friday September 8th 2017. Earlier, the MOL Triumph and MOL Trust already made their maiden call at RWG. The MOL Tribute is also deployed in the FE2 service of The Alliance. With a length of 400 meters and a width of 59 meters, the MOL Tribute is, just like her two predecessors, one of the largest vessels at present.
On Monday August 28th 2017, container terminal Rotterdam World Gateway (RWG) handled one million containers since the official opening in September 2015.
This container was unloaded from the CMA CGM Corte Real. RWG is very proud of having achieved this milestone within two years since the opening of the terminal. After a period of building and testing, RWG has grown to be a well-respected terminal in the port of Rotterdam and the Hamburg-Le Havre range.
