Maiden call CMA CGM Notre Dame at RWG
Rotterdam World Gateway (RWG) welcomed the CMA CGM Notre Dame during her maiden call in Rotterdam. The vessel is the first in a series of ten new LNG-powered container ships operated by CMA CGM and serves the French Asia Line (FAL), connecting Asia and Northern Europe.
With a length of 400 metres, a beam of 62 metres and a capacity of 24,212 TEU, the CMA CGM Notre Dame ranks among the largest container vessels in the world. The vessel is also the largest LNG-powered container ship sailing under the French flag.
As part of the traditional maiden call ceremony, RWG marked the occasion by presenting a commemorative gift to the vessel’s crew.
RWG wishes the CMA CGM Notre Dame and her crew a safe onward journey.
