Go Green Campaign 2017

On Friday September 15th, 40 employees of Rotterdam Container Terminals (APMT, ECT and RWG) and the Port Authority Rotterdam contributed to the Go Green 2017 event. This event, part of the worldwide and yearly recurring Go Green Campaign, aims to help contribute to a better environment. For the event the volunteers planted sea buckthorn on a dike on Maasvlakte 2, a scrub that naturally occurs in the Dutch coastal zone.

Maiden Call MOL Tribute

The MOL Tribute, MOL’s next 20.000 TEU vessel in a series of six, will make her maiden call at the RWG terminal on Friday September 8th 2017. Earlier, the MOL Triumph and MOL Trust already made their maiden call at RWG. The MOL Tribute is also deployed in the FE2 service of The Alliance. With a length of 400 meters and a width of 59 meters, the MOL Tribute is, just like her two predecessors, one of the largest vessels at present.

RWG nominated for Lloyd’s List Awards

Rotterdam World Gateway (RWG) has been nominated for the Lloyd's List Global Awards 2017, a prestigious award ceremony of the English shipping journal Lloyd’s List. The goal of the event is to give recognition to innovative organizations and performances in the maritime industry.
